Michele Day, M.A.
Lecturer, Journalism
Michele Day began teaching at NKU in 2001. Her courses include Newswriting I, Newswriting II, Contemporary Mass Media, and Feature Writing.
Michele worked for newspapers for more than 20 years, including 17 years as an editor and a reporter for the Cincinnati and Kentucky Post. She continues to practice the writing craft by freelancing for newspapers and magazines. Some of her favorite story topics include relationships, human interest, home and garden trends and travel.
Michele earned her Master's in Communication degree from NKU. She received her B.A. from Western Kentucky University, where she served as editor of the award-winning College Heights Herald student newspaper.
