Biography

Christa's bright and cheery smile welcomes faculty, students and visitors to the main Communication Department office in Landrum. Her multi-tasking magnificence allows her to coordinate all of the textbook orders, maintain student files, copyedit faculty and department projects, plan and coordinate department events, answer a multi-line phone, bake gourmet meals, make stunning flower arrangements, fold napkins into fancy origami creations — all at the same time, and all while managing to look stunning and amazingly younger than her real age. Christa credits her remarkable abilities to her super power of synesthesia which means she hears in color! Amazing but true!

Christa also happens to be a 2005 NKU Communication grad (summa cum laude) and recipient of the department's Top Scholar Award. So there!
