Mark Miller, M.S.
Academic Advisor
Mark Miller is an advisor in the Communication Department, advising all non-freshman (30+ credit hours) communication majors. Mark has previously worked in higher education as an admission counselor, career counselor, academic advisor, and adjunct instructor. He joined NKU in December, 2007.
Mark received his M.S. in College Student Personnel from Miami University and his B.S. in Mass Communication from the University of Evansville (go Purple Aces!) His professional interests include access to education, first-generation students, and typology theory in educational settings.
When he's not at NKU, Mark enjoys trips to the dog park with his Walker Coonhound, Harvey; alt-folk-rock-bluegrass music; independent movies; and cooking--comfort foods and desserts are his specialty. An Indiana native, Mark is a huge college basketball fan and looks forward to March Madness every year.
