Prospective Students

The Master of Arts in Communication at NKU is designed to cater to the many needs of different populations of students

  • We offer night, weekend and online classes that will work with any schedule
  • Graduate Assistantships in the Department and Corporate Communication Fellowships that allow you to gain valuable experience while pursuing a Master's in Communication
  • Award-winning faculty with PhDs from world renowned schools who are active scholars (writing books, being published in journals, conducting research programs and public engagement/applied research projects)

The class of 2007/08 comes from a wide variety of backgrounds including: public relations, engineering, graphic design, journalism, law, and business. The average GPA of the 2007 class of students was a 3.5/4.0. These students are diverse in age, race, gender, occupation, undergraduate institution, and undergraduate major. Seventy-five percent of these students have full-time careers as well. They are well prepared to succeed in our graduate program and in their respective careers upon graduation

  • Be patient with us! Much of our rapidly growing campus is under construction in order to provide our students with continuing high quality and affordable education.
