Minor in Electronic Media & Broadcasting
EMB's minor is designed to provide a focused taste of media storytelling. The required classes are:
- EMB 100 Media Literacy
- EMB 110 Mass Media
- EMB 140 Introduction To Media Aesthetics
- EMB 260 or EMB 265 Writing for the Media or Broadcast Newswriting
- Plus 4 additional EMB classes
Prospective students should note that EMB 260 and EMB 265 require an ACT English score of 20.
RTV's minor (in effect until Fall 2007) required classes are:
- EMB 100 Media Literacy
- EMB 110 Mass Media
- EMB 210 Introduction to Single Camera Video
- EMB 215 Introduction to Audio Production
- Plus 4 additional EMB classes
