Game & Movie Night
Game and Movie night events are held every semester. It is a way for students to network. There are computer games (Xbox, Wii) and traditional board games (Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, and others). A wide array of movies are shown. Students can bring family and friends. These events are often sponsored by the Women In Informatics organization. Watch for sign postings in the department for the next event.
Elementary Programming Tutoring Labs
The introductory programming courses INF 120 and INF 260 can be a challenge for students. We have open tutoring labs with peer tutors to help students excel in the courses. Professors also have open lab times. The tutoring lab is available several days and times during the week. Don't hesitate to ask your INF 120/260 instructors about available lab days/times.
