Communication Studies is not just about making speeches. In NKU's program you'll study human interaction in all its many forms — from interpersonal to intercultural, from effective listening to argumentation, from classical rhetoric to contemporary semiotics.
With a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies, you will be a communicator who is valued for your capabilities in making presentations, running meetings, conducting research, managing people, and working effectively with others. Graduates of the program have highly successful careers in fields such as sales, training and development, public relations, human resources, and marketing. Many use their degree as preparation for graduate study in law, business, education, theology, political science, and — of course — communication.
