We recognize that learning and student development occur in multiple contexts, and thus, we will provide a diverse and extensive array of curricular and co-curricular opportunities. Combining classroom education with real world application, our college will provide the most qualified graduates in our region and develop the leaders for our technology driven global economy.

Community Engagement
We understand that we are an important and integral part of the larger community. We strive to serve as a resource to further the needs and aspirations of the region's businesses and citizens. We encourage partnership and collaboration, entrepreneurship, and innovative thinking to build bridges between our college and the community. We provide the educational resources that working professionals need to keep pace with ever rapid pace of changing technology. We magnify our positive impact in serving regional, state, national, and global needs by building mutually beneficial linkages with business, industry, community colleges, non profits, K-12 programs and schools, and other constituencies.

Informatics Advancement
Applying our efforts in ways to promote the College of Informatics and its mission. We will focus on the underlying meaning of informatics and cooperatively work in all areas within the college including computer science, business informatics and communication. We will continue on new roads of research and discovery in our existing areas of expertise, in emerging disciplines, and in related interdisciplinary areas. For our region’s future development, we will encourage young people to consider careers in informatics by introducing them to informatics in middle and high school.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship
We will promote and leverage innovation of our students, faculty and staff. We do all that we do to develop and nurture an entrepreneurial spirit within our own organization and within the organizations that we serve regardless of their size. Our students have the opportunity to learn from faculty and staff who have also been real-world entrepreneurs and who are willing to openly share what they have learned from both their successes and failures.We will work with entrepreneurs in the region to assist in their growth and success. We will run our programs in a business like setting to maximize our students experience and success upon graduation.
