Mike Sames, B.S.
Project Coordinator
Mike Sames is a Project Coordinator for the Infrastructure Management Institute at Northern Kentucky University's College of Informatics. In this role, Mike currently manages and coordinates projects associated with the Virtual CIO initiative, as well as other projects within the Student Advanced Technology Program. His main focus is operation and development of the Virtual CIO Service Center, offering technology support services to participating K-12 school districts, businesses, and public/government organizations
in the Northern Kentucky region.
Mike joined NKU in October of 2008. Prior to joining NKU, Mike has had six years experience in the field of IT Technical Support and Help Desk services. This included over five years at one of Cincinnati's largest advertising agencies (Northlich), as well as with and IT services firm for the United Way (Upic Solutions).
Mike graduated from NKU with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology, while having a specialization track in Web Development, and was among the first to hold a minor in Computer Forensics. Prior to that, Mike also graduated from Cincinnati State with an Associate of Business in Network Administration Technology in 2004
in the Northern Kentucky region.
