Student Advanced Technology Program
SATP is a managed co-op program created by the IMI in order to give students from the College of Informatics the opportunity to gain applied experience in their degree fields. Students collaborate on a variety of projects ranging from IT security and operations, to web development and research.  Additionally, students have the opportunity to work with university faculty and industry professionals to solve challenges that are prevalent in businesses today.  Currently, students contribute to a number of projects for NKU, IMI, and partnering businesses.  Some of the projects include web design and development, application development, enterprise resource planning (ERP), healthcare informatics, and more.

Center for Information Security (CIS)
IT Security is more than computer or network protection; it is the difference between business successes and failure.  On average, security planning and protection can cost a company up to $10 million per year, depending on the size of the company.  Those costs however, are relatively small compared to the potential losses when businesses operate with inadequate security.

The CIS assists the region in securing its computer resources through the dissemination of best practices in information security.

IT Leadership Forum (ITLF)
IMI's ITLF program was created to provide senior-level IT leaders with a wide range of professional development opportunities. The forums include current IT topics that add value to its members, their IT organizations, and personal careers.
