Infrastructure Management Institute
The Infrastructure Management Institute provides a wide variety of low cost IT solutions for small business and corporations, utilizing the resources of Northern Kentucky University’s College of Informatics to act as a “Virtual CIO” for your organization.
Development
Website Development: Development and design/re-design of Web Presence. This is a customized service based on the needs and goals of your web presence. Services include prototyping, design, coding, and testing of your new website.
Application Development: Development and design of small scale business applications to enhance operational efficiencies. Included in this process is the database and front end interface design.
Brochure Development: Assistance in brochure and other PR/marketing aspects of your project.
Disaster Recovery & Lab Services
We are available as a backup site including the process of regaining access to data, hardware and software necessary for your business operations in the case of a natural disaster. You can also utilize the IMI IT infrastructure to test disaster scenarios outside of your production environment.
Helpdesk Services
We provide a support service to allow end users to get technical support help for IT problems via the phone, e-mail, or web. Service levels are clearly documented and aligned with the priority of incidents logged with the helpdesk. Examples of helpdesk support services include support for Microsoft products, web browsers and internet connectivity.
Hosted IT Services
Hosting and maintenance of your website or eMail domain through our servers which include documented service levels and data backup.
IT Best Practice Management
Coordination efforts to ensure best practice deployment of recommendations for IT improvements. This is a customized service based on where needs exist.
Assessments
A graded and evaluation is made of your business, based on an IT Assessment of current environment performed through an interview process (may be phone, video conferencing, e-mail/web based) to determine overall IT operational efficiency. IT Remote Operations Management
Remote monitoring of select facets of an IT environment including machine uptime, virus signature compliance, OS update / security patch compliance, backup process verification, etc.
eMail Deployments
Coordination of efforts to move e-mail operations to an externally hosted solution, migration to a different hosted solution, or moving eMail operations from a hosted service to in-house operations.
Enterprise Systems Management
Coordination of efforts to provide remote monitoring tools for your system, from network connectivity to operating systems. We can provide a common repository for operation and performance monitoring at all levels, as well as problem solutions if systems fail to function.
